“Thanks,” he says. His instinct is to reach out and run his hand over her buzzed hair, but when he starts to lift his hand she pulls back and he drops his arm immediately. “I like yours, too,” he offers instead.'

"He tries to not think too hard about the way Eddie flirts with him, because it is flirting, but it’s also clear that this is simply the way Eddie interacts with people. It doesn’t mean anything. And even if it did, Steve wouldn’t care. Why would Steve care? He wouldn’t. He would have absolutely no reason to care. That little tingle of warmth and fluttery nerves that he feels is just how anyone reacts to flirting. It’s nice, getting that kind of attention. It doesn’t mean anything."

It’s just that Jamie played the entire album, and then proceeded to play the ten-minute version of “All Too Well” on a loop for the next forty minutes."
