Summary
Taki sits on the shelf in the toy store, waiting for something to happen. Time moves differently for plush toys, so he's not sure how long he waits. But one day, he's bought. He's to be a gift, and Taki is given to the most beautiful man he's ever seen. When the beautiful man pulls him out of the box, he turns towards the flashing lights and all the people cheering, calling out, laughing, “This one’s so cute! I think I’m in love!"
Taki thinks he is too.

Summary
Something in Fuma snaps, Nicholas isn't entirely sure what but he sure as hell knows why. It might have been the tone of his voice, the way he was practically fighting with Fuma over his stupid collar, or even the way he accidentally said it in a cutesy voice. The same voice he’d use to tease Fuma and Euijoo regularly. Either way, the only thing Nicholas knows is Fuma absolutely despises it.
Fuma reaches to rip the collar off of Nicholas, the bell jingling in his hand as he grips Nicholas’s chin with the exact same collar he’s taunting him with, “I am your owner, not your friend.”
Fuma turns back in the passenger seat of the car as he adds on, “Remember that.”
Euijoo and Fuma teach their hybrid a lesson.

Taki likes how it feels to play pretend. As an idol, he gets to be an elf in a magical forest, or an angel, a sailor, a boxer, hands all torn up and covered in bandages. Often, he gets to be a wolf-pup. And sometimes when he’s running around on all-fours, or holding his hands up like paws going woof, woof, woof, K will crouch down and reach his hand out, fingers pinched together like he’s holding something small, and touch them to Taki’s lips, saying, good boy, Taki, here’s a treat. K will ruffle his hair, and scratch behind his ears. Taki likes playing pretend. He likes being a wolf-pup. And he likes being K’s wolf-pup the best.
