This analysis is based on information that can be found in the fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disosrders (DSM-5), among other extensive researches about pacients with borderline personality disorder, including myself, and Marsha M. Linhan, a psychologist who has dedicated her life to developing a proper approach on BPD recognition and treatment.
