Summary
In the aftermath of the massacre at MAC-Z, Will discovers his newfound powers and how he can utilize them to help his friends. Summary
As much of a mystery as Mike was, Will had come to understand at least one thing. Mike needed to be needed.
Will felt like a lightbulb had gone off in his head when he’d come to the realisation.
The dealing, the sex, the taunting texts – it all made sense. People came to Mike to get what they needed, whether that be drugs, an orgasm, or the last word in a fiery exchange.
The goading messages were a test, Will had decided – a constant push and pull, Mike seeing whether Will would come back and defend himself against his harsh words.
In a way, Will was no better than the people traipsing Mike’s door at all hours of the night. He did need something from Mike, just the same as everyone else.Or:
Ending up on the infamous roster of the college drug dealer was not in Will's college plans. He'd had a list — a real one, written down — of how this year was supposed to go. Mike Wheeler was not on it. None of this was.

Will could not help the question that burst from his lips, it had been ricocheting around his brain like a stray tennis ball and was simultaneously causing him the most excitement, distress and exhilaration he had felt in his entire life.
“Are you my husband?” he blurted. Mike blinked in surprise.
“What?”
Will lost his nerve slightly. He wondered if he had been horribly wrong about this, and maybe in this strange timeline he was just a friend staying over and maybe he’d made a mistake and the daughter wasn’t really his daughter and—
Will faltered. “Um, I — well, I just thought you were — I mean, you are my husband, right?”
Mike looked very alarmed. He was staring at Will as though he had grown a second head.
“Obviously…?” he said, “Are you feeling alright? Did your mom make you try her D-I-Y coffee again?”

Summary
Eddie had never given much thought to dying, at least, he would deny ever doing so— though he'd had reason enough in the last few months —but even if he had, he wouldn't have imagined it like this. At least it was a good way to die, in the place of someone else, someone he loved. Noble, even. Brave. That ought to count for something, right?
He knew that if he had never come to Forks, he would not be staring at the eyes of death in this moment. But, as terrified as Eddie was, he could not bring himself to regret the decision. When life offers you a dream so far beyond any of your expectations, it's not unreasonable to grieve when it comes to an end.
