She thinks over the list, Even though she already knows her response- That is until; “-Wait Alli, What about Stiles? He's been perpetually single our whole lives.”
Her best friend offers a heavy silence before sighing into the phone, “Stiles didn’t tell you?”
Lydia pauses, moving to sit on her bed “Stiles didn't tell me what?”
“-Honestly Lyds, I thought if anyone would know after Scott it would be you- Tethers and all..” The other girl dodging the subject left a pit in her stomach as she pushed for an answer.
“Alli, Just tell me.. I’m sure whatever it is I can handle it.”
There's a rustling noise on the other end as she listens to her best friend move, “Well, Stiles and Malia are a thing.”
“A thing?”
“-Yes.”
Lydia’s sure her voice goes up at least an octave when she asks, “Like, Fuck buddies thing? Science partners thing? What kind of thing Allison?”
“A committed relationship type thing.”
