Summary
Jonathan didn't want to live, but that never meant he was ready to die. He knew his mother would be angry, at least subconsciously, because her eldest son had brought her nothing but trouble in the form of a sobbing Will, funeral expenses, and fake condolences from people who would only learn his name at the funeral. He also knew his mother wouldn't love him any more in death than she did in life.
God, he just had to get out of here.

Summary
Steve Harrington never meant to send the letters.
He wrote them in the quiet years between monsters and earthquakes and the end of the world. He wrote them when Hawkins was burning, when sleep wouldn’t come, when the only thing keeping the silence away was an old mixtape he wasn’t supposed to have.
He wrote them to Jonathan Byers.Bookmarked by ostolopik

Summary
When Jonathan canceled on the group's plans, Steve paid him a visit to find out the real reason. It doesn't go the way he expects.
~
Something was amiss. Steve knew because Jonathan never skipped Friday nights with him, Robin, and Nancy. That, on top of his dry and cryptic messages from the day before; vaguely mentioning an argument with his dad who was in town for some reason. His knuckles wrapped on the glass and Jonathan’s dark figure shifted, turning to face him. “Byers, let me in,” he hissed, rubbing his hands together in an effort to warm them.

Summary
When a teacher suggested Jonathan for a photograph contest being held, Jonathan didn’t think much of it, wouldn’t have even signed up if it weren’t for Will finding out and the chance of a cash prize.
However, somehow, he makes it past the first stages in Hawkins, forgetting about the tiny detail that this contest is one taking place all over the country, meaning he has photo shoots to organize, favors to ask, interactions to have and a big final prize that could possibly be his.
Why did he do this?
***
OR, Jonathan enters a photography contest and winds up making friends and *le gasp* believing in himself?
Fic is finished, updates Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Summary
"I thought that was it," he mumbled, voice low, trying his hardest to focus on the steady thumping of his best friend's heart. "On the tower."
The arms holding him tightened slightly, cheek resting on his head. Familiar. Safe."Yeah, me too. And then in the Abyss-"
He shuddered at the memory of the claw coming down on him, of the cold certainty that he was about to die. He snuggled more into his brother and Steve responded in kind.
"I know," he whispered, but even that came out shaky and almost pathetic.
"We're still here. We're here. I've got you now."
Dustin nodded in acknowledgement, unable to say anything more. But they didn't really need to. They never had.

Summary
“Go away,” Dustin mutters.
Eddie clicks his tongue. “Don’t know if I trust you unsupervised right now.”
“Unsuper—” Dustin rounds on him. “You are a figment of my imagination.”
