When Sokka stops by on a diplomatic visit, he notices, and decides to do something about it.

Suki and Zuko have become comfortable together, her steady presence always with him wherever he goes, sparring together, laughing together, taking meals together. And at nighttime, in the safety of their own rooms, fucking themselves raw thinking about each other. They would never do anything, not even acknowledge the unspoken attraction between them - they both respect Sokka too much to do that.
But then Sokka finally visits, and he gets an idea.

Firelord Zuko is turning 24. As per tradition, everyone in the Royal family must find a mate by the time they are 24.
After the war, Zuko is too busy to socialize so his court takes it upon themselves to host a competition inviting 15 omegas of noble families to fight for a chance at Zuko's hand.
