Summary
The void of space was not silent, it hummed with the constant, vibrating thrum of the Blip-A’s engines. Rocky had lived in that hum for so long he didn't even notice the sound anymore.
But what he did notice was the slow, agonizing decay of his crewmates' carapaces. One by one, the radiation had turned his friends into still, silent stones. Then, there was only him. And he coped with it the best he could, he cleaned the fuel lines, he checked the cameras, he watched the stars glimmer—anything to keep himself distracted.

Summary
Grace's eyes widened when he saw someone was actually in there, not just anybody either, it was another human. He couldn't believe it.
"I'm Grace! What's your name?"
The other human looked at Grace with wide eyes, covered head to toe in blood. He was breathing heavily, choking on air while shivering. He was obviously distressed—so he didn't say anything at first. But when he finally did, he sounded hesitant—like he didn't trust Grace.
"S-Simon.."
Grace nodded, smiling sweetly. Picking up on the man's fear, he spoke softly to prevent scaring him more.
"It's nice to meet you, Simon! I-I'm sorry it had to happen this way.. I-I'm here to help you though, I promise I won't hurt you."

OR Grace and Rocky meet Simon after The Hail Mary received a distress signal about a submarine that appeared out of nowhere.
