Wolfwood hadn't flustered like Vash hoped, or gotten mad like he expected. He'd just stared flat-eyed at Vash, eyes unreadable, before asking if there was more porridge.

Her daydreams are now filled with visions of small children that look just like Mydei – but maybe with her own smile, or eyes – running through the wheat fields of her hometown.
