Summary
It started out small. Jokes and kidding around, teasing. One day you flirted in an overly exaggerated manner with Loki and that was it. The deal was signed. You two began “flirting” obnoxiously to annoy the others.
One friend threatening to bend the other over a nearby surface often and loudly to the rolled eyes of your friends and coworkers. The banter was hilarious and it helped you to keep your attraction to Loki from boiling over.
There was only one line neither of you would cross. The jokes were never done when you two were alone. A “performance” necessitated an audience.
When the line gets unintentionally crossed you take the joke for truth.
But every joke has a kernel of truth in it, doesn’t it?

Summary
Malfoy looked down at her, eyes glinting dangerously.
“If you’re going to polish these brooms, you should know what it feels like to have one between your legs, I think,” he said silkily, holding the broom handle up for her to see. The polish oozed down the side.
Hermione’s eyes widened.
“You want me to ride a broom, sir? In here?”
Malfoy’s smile was venomous.
“Turn around, Granger.”
Hermione enters a magical daydream in which she’s playing a naughty Hogwarts student on her way to serve detention with a sexy substitute teacher. And there’s no way Malfoy will slip through the barriers of the charm this time, is there?
Only there is. Because he does. And he’s got some new tricks up his sleeve.

"Rule number two - no kissing," Sage said. Fred opened his mouth with an incredulous look to retort but she continued on before he could speak. "Or at least not without a purpose."
Fred processed the information for a moment but then grinned his typical grin. A mischievous look took over his eyes and he scooted even closer to her on the bed until their bodies were pressed together. "A purpose, hmm?" he asked directly into her ear with a low voice, sending shivers up and down her spine. "So if I kiss you it means it's going to lead somewhere?".
He then brought his lips to her neck and started to softly press kisses upwards until he neared her mouth, his hand starting to wander up her bare leg.
"No, Fred," she said and pushed her off of him once she finally regained her senses. "At least wait until we finish the rules."

Fred is Sage's best friend's older brother who she's always had a love/hate relationship with. They somehow strike up a friends with benefits arrangement, hoping that they can release their pent-up frustrations for one another and remain friends along the way.
Whether they can remain only friends is what they need to figure out.
