Summary
Yvie's life is hardly glamorous. Living on the docks doesn't offer much in the way of opportunity and she's only just staying above water as a surgeons assistant. Until happenstance and ill luck draw her into the Gates underworld in general, and the Zhentarim in particular. Life is about to change in many big ways, and not just for herself....
This is a sort of 'prologue piece' to the short 'Whiskey Red' fic I made a few weeks ago. The Rugan brainworm has bitten in deep and now sits like a damn tadpole in my brain, so now I aim to share!

Set a few years after the Elderbrain's defeat, Renata has found her niche in life, not on the road to another adventure but in the depths of Windstone College's infamous magical library, where the books might occasionally read you. With a comfortable life and a few close friends it should have been a life of quiet sedentary boredom, just how she likes it.
But in the act of helping a friend she makes a deal that's just getting ready to come back and possibly literally bite her on the ass.

Summary
A crazy idea that popped into my head when i asked myself what Halsin would make of Audra, from my other story; A Snake in the Garden.
The answer was quite surprising when i put it together with how suffocated and angry Halsin felt during act 3 when he was stuck within the city, with nobody to understand how a druids rage could test his resolve. A chance meeting with an understanding ally leads to a moment of desperation and solace.

Summary

Yvie has reached the final straw with Big John, the big fish swimming around the little crime pond that is the docks. So has Rugan, and this time he's called in a favor from an old friend.

Summary
The Netherbrain lies defeated in the river Chionthar, leaving Ilyana and her friends free without the threat of ceremorphosis hanging over their heads. On the docks of Baldur's Gate, they get to catch their breath and a moment to contemplate their future. Endings spell new beginnings. Some hopeful, some dire.
With the greater evil now defeated, the lesser evil comes knocking and all of its consequences. Ilyana will have to face Gortash alone as the struggle for Baldur's Gate continues for her.

Summary

When a rather strange group came to her requesting aid, she never imagined that she'd be dragged into an organization that would shake the foundation of the world. Over fifty years later, the Veil is gone and the Inquisition a footnote in history.
She hopes her role in it has faded away, that she has become forgotten.

((Nota Bene: I disagree that there is infidelity in this work. The two characters are not in an established relationship and have not agreed to exclusivity. However, I also said that if people commented on it and let me know it was triggery, I'd tag it because I'm also not an asshole. The problematic act, for those who might want to read everything but that, occurs in Chapter 7/Day 7 and sort of again in Chapter 13/Day 12 in a more consensual fashion.))
