Summary
Sometimes- if he could wipe enough thick blood away from his eyes- he could see that the tree was flowing with blood. Like if the body was clear enough to see blood moving. It looked like those animations he showed his students back on Earth, of blood moving throughout the body through arteries and veins. He could see what looked like capillaries, blood exchanging and moving back towards the trunk of the tree through the viny veins.
He hated it. It felt important.
It felt like he was meant to get there.

tl;dr: Grace is having the worst, bloodiest nightmares he's ever had and not a soul on Erid, including him, can seem to discern why.

Angel Dust was in a fresh, surprisingly good relationship with Hell's very own Radio Demon. Sure they'd had some kinks (not that kind, unfortunately) getting to where they were now. But...Angel had something actually, truly good going for him.
Then he got a call from his sister, and suddenly his whole family was going on a road-trip. He'd be fine going too, right?
Especially since he got to bring his new boyfriend. Sure, Al had to be disguised, but that was fine. No ways anything could go wrong with that.

Toriel felt herself straighten as a joyous realization fell upon her shoulders. “You think we should go as clowns!”

There was a virus spreading throughout Detroit. Exclusively infecting androids, it was nearly undetectable and its method of spreading was as much a mystery as how this virus somehow mutated the robots into feeling physical pain.
Connor wasn't allowed near this case, or risk catching this virus. He disapproved heavily, obviously, this case was killing his kind.
The bot's shoulders sunk deeply in disappointment, and his ventilation systems whirred with a heavy breath out, a distracting flicker of red dancing over his vision. Connor only stiffened a moment. He couldn't let a minor glitch throw him off, after all.

Ryland doesn't know where he is, what he's doing, or why he's doing it. All he knows is that he's in a universe with no stars and that an organization called the COI found the Hail Mary spinning out into deep space. Summary
When Grace gets seemingly teleported by means unknown into the SM-13 right as it was nearing The Light, both Simon and Grace have no idea what is happening. Grace knows he was supposed to be in his house on Erid, Simon knows this new guy cannot possibly be a hallucination, and Ava, upon hearing Grace ramble about theories for how he got there, knows that new guy is Smart. Could-Secure-Our-Survival Smart.

Grace turns his gaze back to the craft in front of him. Now that he takes a closer look, it is a craft, and a shoddily constructed one at that. Even from this far away, he can see patches of metal roughly welded together to create something just this side of airtight.
At least it used to be. The thing looked like it had been hit by a bulldozer, and then backed over for good measure. There were holes punched into the metal big enough to stick his arm through, the glass on the front was cracked, one tap away from shattering completely, and the whole thing was covered in dents and scratches.
