Summary
What initially begins as Mike and Will calling each other exaggeratedly cheesy pet names to mess with Max and Lucas starts spiralling into something a lot more intimate and dangerous. Will isn't really sure where they managed to lose the plot, or how far they can go before there's no turning back.
Or: Max and Lucas go through a late honeymoon phase. It's excessive. It's gross. Mike and Will (well, mostly Mike) decide to engage in exaggerated bouts of PDA to demonstrate how disgusting the couple are being. It starts to get out of control pretty quickly.

one of my favourite fics of all fucking time, the writing style was so so unique and the whole fic was absolutely hilarious!! seriously, i haven't laughed so hard at a fic in so long. that being said, the author really knew how to balance humour with emotional/angsty scenes because i was both bawling like a baby and laughing during the last chapter. it was not pretty. my sweet stupid mike, i love him so much in this

another hit by the byler bookclub hivemind!!!!! this story kickstarted my professor wheeler obsession and i don't think i can ever go back to who i was before i read this fic. genuiknely every tag i could ever want in a fic (i am a SUCKER for a good enemies to lovers) and i went thorugh the whole range of possible emotions this author's writing is so evocative. i need to specificall address the last chapter because guys you NEED to listen to fake plastic trees while reading this i sobbed like a baby at like 4am because i stayed up binge-reading the whole thing! SUCH an amazing fic everyone needs to read it RIGH NNOW
