Summary
He had successfully overthought his way out of careers, relationships (some, many before they ever got the chance to be anything), apartments, and jobs. That overthinking usually led to some places where story-making ultimately got a hold of his impulses, and he put his foot in his mouth. He had put his foot in his mouth plenty of times around Eva Stratt, and she still held him in some kind esteem. She made him feel something he hadn't felt very often in his life. It was how he felt about the Astrophage and Project Hail Mary: like having a direction, as if his internal compass were waking up and showing him his North Star.
That scared him because it always prefaced the destruction of something that gave Ryland Grace a purpose.
Eva Stratt gave him a purpose. And he overthought himself into a position that truly must be the worst of all.
He kissed her. But she kissed him back.

Summary
As the deviant crisis escalates, CyberLife is scrambling to retrieve their errant RK800 prototype. However, they run into some unanticipated interference from recovering xenophobe Hank Anderson.
A canon divergence tale, in which Connor has to choose for himself which world he belongs to. Hank's trying not to rush him, but there's a bit of a war on, and CyberLife's got a lot more resources than a deadbeat detective and his deviant-in-denial partner.

Summary
This is how the longer cases go. They wind him up like a music box, until one day there’s a click and everything falls open and Connor can sing and sing and sing. And thrill with the singing. And come home with empirical proof of his worth as a human being.
The year is 1890. Connor Stern has been shipped off to newly incorporated Prescott, Arizona, to track down a renowned and evasive raider gang on behalf of local mining interests. His partner in the case is the completely incalcitrant County Sheriff, who’s far more likely at any one time to be finding his way to a bottle than a bandit. His target? Feared outlaw Markus, a man who’s growing increasingly eager to introduce Connor to the business end of a six-shooter gun.
But Connor’s in luck, because as it becomes evident to all three men that the solutions to their problems are fortuitously linked, Markus must consider the possibility that his headhunter might just have more potential to him as an ally than a corpse.
You catch more flies with honey, after all...
