Summary
It's Summer, 1986. Jonathan Byers' friends have left in pursuit of exciting opportunities, his brother off to camp with his own crowd, his mom on a trip with a new romance. Jonathan is left alone, comforting himself by daydreaming of his muse, the boy he's been infatuated with since childhood, the one who got away, Steve Harrington. Little does he know, Steve has stayed behind for the Summer too. Worlds apart, the men are tethered together through their loneliness and the weight of feelings left unsaid. For Jonathan, the lines between imagination and reality begin to blur as their lives converge and new truths come to light.

“Who told you to drop to your knees on the concrete?”
Steve clutched his chest dramatically before slumping back in his seat, “I was forced to by your cold-heartedness.”
“Hmm.
Such a good little boy.”
Jonathan likes Steve, but not like that. Not like that at all.
Robin thinks Jonathan is stupid. So does Steve.

Summary
Jonathan realized things with Nancy weren’t going to work because he constantly felt out of place. Like the wrong variable in a math equation; he didn’t complete the function. He didn’t fit. But with Steve… Jonathan couldn’t shake the feeling that Steve fit. Like a glove. Like a warm jacket. Like the borrowed pack of Joyce’s cigarettes in his back pocket; something he couldn’t quit even if he tried. The whole thing made Jonathan dizzyingly nauseous if he thought about it for too long.

Summary
Jonathan Byers isn't sure of many things in his life, but he's definitely sure of one thing in particular.
Nancy Wheeler? She's an angel.
That's why when she asks him to get to The Squawk, he drops his bagel full of cream cheese, and does just that. Only, when he gets there, he's unexpectedly pushed into a car with Steve Harrington, the one person he can truly say he hates.
Now he's sure of two things: If Nancy's an angel? Steve Harrington is the devil Incarnate.
And, more importantly, a bigger question: Should He Stay or Should He Go?
TLDR: Jonathan and Steve are forced to drive to Murray's hideout. Gay things happen.
