“Xiao, look at me”
And Xiao did, because everything Venti wanted, Xiao did. He opened his eyes and Venti once again wiped his tears away.
“I need you to promise me you´ll live” Venti caressed his cheeks and Xiao leaned into the touch.
“I will” he lied.
“Good. In return,” Venti motioned to sit so Xiao helped him, he never took his hand out of Venti’s waist, holding him tight. “I’ll promise you, Alatus, I’ll find you in our next life.”
Fate is a powerful thing but, by itself, it doesn't mean anything.

Summary

Summary
In which Giyuu is trying to be a responsible student and actually study for the upcoming exams, but Sabito proves himself to be a persistent distraction.
─── • ───
“Where do you even find all of that energy?” Giyuu asked. To anybody else, he would have sounded irritated, displeased, but not to Sabito. He could tell he was just teasing; he could hear the fondness in his voice.
To him, the seemingly aloof boy was an open book. He knew very well how to navigate his words and expressions to find his unyielding devotion behind his – often accidentally – blunt remarks and flat silences.
They knew each other like the backs of their hands, the result of having spent nearly every day together since they first met when they were children.Bookmarked by pumpkinkBoo
