Princess Mononoke Voltron AU. And of course, it is Klance. Directed to any Studio Ghibli/Voltron fans like myself! I will be watching the movie and recreating every scene, but with Voltron characters.
A multi-chapter work, I hope to have the fic updated when I write it and finish the whole movie. It will be written from the third person, but once I finish it I may go back and write some crucial scenes in characters POVs.
And, of course, Yakul is Kaltenecker.

Summary
Lance McClain, youngest captain of the Blue Lion, is fierce, wild, and allegedly one of the most sought-after sailors to ever grace the waters. Not to mention, a master thief - a thief who steals from pirates. With a trusty crew by his side, a ship with a name known by everyone in Altea and the Galra Empire, and a potential knighthood from Queen Allura herself, Captain McClain’s name is hardly something to sniff at.
And then there’s Keith Kogane, brash and hotheaded - one of the most infamous pirates working under the influence of Emperor Zarkon. It's not easy working on your own terms when you're also working for the Emperor. As the captain of the Red Sword he has a reputation among pirates, plundering because those are his orders and recruiting more crew for Zarkon to use as he pleases.
Captain McClain will admit he’s been drawn to the Red Sword’s handsome captain for quite some time, but damn, if only they weren’t the fiercest rivals to ever sail the seven seas.

Summary
Lance and Keith are rival cosplayers, who only know each other by their online usernames. They are fiercely competitive, but are also desperately attracted to each other. You'd think they would just get together already, but there's a couple of problems:
1. Keith crossplays, so Lance has absolutely no idea that Keith is a boy.
