“Did you still feel hot even in the shade?” Charlie asked.
“Yeah, that’s why I took my clothes off somewhere. And then I found the creek. I feel like I’m burning up.” Great so whatever was wrong with him was wrong with her too.
“That’s weird, I feel the same way… like I’m sunburnt or somethin’,” Charlie sighed, looking off to the side.
Suddenly Bella was tugging at his belt, trying to unbuckle it. “Bella, what are you doing?!”
“Come get in the creek, I don’t want you to wreck your uniform,” she said as if that were an obvious response. Charlie was forced to look over at her as he gripped her wrists with a gentle strength to stop her.
“Bels, you can’t just start trying to take a man’s pants off like that,” he caught her gaze, “there’s implications to it.”
“What if I don’t care?” she said, smirking as she struggled to remove her wrists. Charlie got a little red in the face, unsure if it was embarrassment or anger.
---Set during New Moon, Edward has been gone for months and Bella is truant from school, so Charlie ends up looking for her in the woods. Unknowingly, they both end up under the influence of sex pollen.
