Summary
Will really tried to read the blurb on the back, even when Mike hovered behind him, commenting about the premise of the book in Will’s hands, breath fanning over the back of his neck, making goosebumps rise there that Will had only felt in imminent danger. When he was still not done with the nightmare. Somehow, this didn’t seem so different. The instinct to hide hadn’t changed, but the danger was not a shadow. It wasn’t flesh coughed up from the maw of cold and spit. It was the tangible warm body of Mike in a bookstore, tailing behind him like a lost puppy.
“Mike, you don’t need to follow me around,” Will eventually said, turning around to face a bewildered Mike, his hand hovered outstretched towards Will before he quickly tucked it behind his back.
“What do you mean?” Mike tilted his head. Dog-like. Curls fell over his eyes and bounced, soft and inviting.
(OR: Mike and Will haven’t talked in six years, but the barriers have started shattering. After reconnecting in New York, they try to figure out this new landscape of their friendship. Carrie Bradshaw and El are there to lend a helping hand.)

Summary
“So,” Carrie started again in the lull. “What did you think about Will?”
She said it so nonchalantly, so flippantly. As if Mike’s whole world hadn’t been turned upside down. Like he hadn’t lain awake at night knocking his head into the wall thinking about all the things he should’ve said. Shoving his head in the pillow at letting Will go. Staring at the ceiling, hearing Will’s laugh rumble between his ears as he left Mike’s life, again.
“He was nice.” Will was nice. He was kind, he was good, he was strong, he was bright, he was warm, he was better.
Carrie nodded, about to take a sip of her coffee, but not before saying, “pretty cute as well, right?” over the rim of her cup.
Mike froze.
“It’s a shame he’s gay,” she said casually, but keeping her eyes on Mike. “Or else I would’ve already swept him off his feet by now.”
(OR: Mike and Will haven’t talked in six years. After Mike moves to New York, he meets the messy, chainsmoking, self centered Carrie Bradshaw–whom he shares an agent with. Little did he know that she would lead him to stand in front of Will Byers again.)

“Okay, so.” Carrie observed them carefully, looking for a reaction. “This is the fabled author, Mike Wheeler.” She waved a hand between them. “And this is my friend Will Byers.”
“Hi.” Will stuck out his hand. He hoped that Mike wouldn’t take it.
“Hi,” Mike replied, taking Will’s hand. He was still warm. Just like when they were kids and the basement got a little too cold for movie night, and he would cuddle up to Will when Will’s teeth started clattering. He was as warm as the sun, and Will felt like a dead body.
“Well,” Carrie clapped her hands together. “I’m going to get some drinks.”
(OR: Mike and Will haven't talked in six years. While in New York, Will meets Carrie Bradshaw, and they develop a friendship in the city. One night, she brings Will to a book event thrown for a friend she shares an agent with. He agrees to go with nothing else to do. Turns out New York isn't as big as Will would've hoped.)

Crowley had been assigned to protect the prince of Hyrule, Aziraphale, a long time ago. And the one time his abilities and protection were most needed, he failed. Laying dormant for a hundred years. But now, the attack on Hyrule had been thwarted by Crowley and the Champions. Hyrule was finally safe. Ganon promised that he would be back, but that was probably an empty threat to spread seeds of doubt in their minds, right?
Either way, Hyrule had started recovering. Towns were rebuilt and people slowly began trusting the world around them again. And after six years, it all seemed like they were done fighting.
So when a strange sickness’ origin was traced back to the caverns deep under Hyrule castle, Crowley and Aziraphale did not think twice to investigate for themselves.

Summary
Central City, California is beautiful, but it’s not where Johnny wants to be – and he’s not who he wants to be, either. Will’s reddened eyes narrow, bewildered. “Mathematically?”
“If there’s two hits left, we’d each only get one,” Mike explains. “But if we shotgunned, we’d both get two.” God, this is the best idea he’s had in ages. He should’ve stolen Will’s weed, like, months ago. “That’s like, bang for your buck. This is simple math, Will Byers. Keep up.”
In which it’s well past midnight in New York, Will can’t sleep, and Mike feels like they barely know each other anymore.
So, they get a little high. Mike is very normal about all of it.
