“What!?” Dustin screeches, “How!? You’re not with any Party members?”
“Yeah I’m babysitting other kids.” Steve sighs, looking back at Beth and Annie bickering over one of their teddy bear guests.
“Other kids?! Kids that aren’t us? You’re cheating on us?”
Steve rubs at his temples, “It’s not like I have a secret family Henderson! Calm down.”
“You may as well have!” Dustin retorts something like hurt colouring his tone.

Summary
Steve Harrington has always been restless. Bouncy, that’s what his mom used to call him. He mostly learned how to tamp down on the physical manifestations of his restless energy in front of others because it turns out that if you’re relentlessly yelled at or humiliated over something, you eventually try to avoid said thing. And if that grew into a creeping sort of anxiety that seeped into him as the years went by, well, he learned to ignore that too.
Then Steve walks into the Byers house and finds out that monsters are real, monsters with teeth for faces that literally rip through the fabric of reality, and, well, he thinks the anxiety that Nancy (amateurly) diagnosed him with is perfectly warranted. All of the sudden, being home alone while his parents are on vacation or business trips is no longer exciting. Now, instead of being happy to have the whole house to himself, walking through his dark and empty home makes his heart race, and he swears he sees shadows slinking along the walls in the dark. He keeps the lights on in every room in the house for a long time.

Another few minutes passed in silence after that, both of them too engrossed in their own homework to say anything further. Peter had put his headphones in so he could concentrate better without any distractions.
“Michael,” the guy says suddenly. Peter looked up at the sound of his voice, but he didn’t hear him quite clearly.
He pulls an earbud out of his ear. “What?”
The guy—Michael, apparently—clears his throat. “My name is Michael,” he doesn’t look at Peter as he speaks, he’s scribbling something on his notebook instead.
“Oh,” Peter breathes out. He didn’t expect the guy to introduce himself. “I’m Peter.”
“I know who you are.”

Summary
The Luckey Cafe was a speciality even amongst travelling coffeeshops. One day, nothing, a vacant lot on the edge of town. The next, a full sized two-story building.
It would appear at the corner of a town, typically close to a Wizards Guildhall, and stick around for weeks at a time, before just disappearing in the night. Anyone out and about close to the building says they just blinked and it was gone, nothing but the exceptionally well branded travel cups in their hands to convince them that it had been there at all.
Nobody knew where it went, or where it came from. Nor did anyone know where to expect it.
When The Luckey Cafe settled somewhere, it was never wanting for customers, people of all scenes lining up for a chance to see the almost mythical cafe before it disappeared again.
So when it landed in Magnolia, well.

Summary
Steve Harrington was a baldfaced lie. It was a mirage that two desperate people had crafted to save a scared, little boy. It was an easy name - only a letter different from that he’d always known. Steve was designed to be boring. A droll American name, fit to blend into a crowd. It was a name for a child from a wealthy family, another boy to take over his father’s company once he grew of age. Designed to be easy to talk about in a positive light, to be the standard teenager in an ordinary town.
He played the part rather well. After all, it was better to be the spoilt rich son of an arrogant man, than to be a child with a number etched upon his wrist.aka, a rewrite of Stranger Things with Steve as a lab kid. it begins with season one, with plans to finish out the show in season five. featuring: immortality, immorality, and the terrors of Steve escaping a place that would always know to look for him.
