Summary
He’s never had someone in his bed before. For a few days John’s scent will cling to the pillows, and when Sherlock goes to sleep he’ll be able to smell it, and he won’t feel so alone. Not that he has felt alone in a while, not since John came into his life, with his military-tight bed corners and scrambled eggs on Sunday. Spy-novels littered around in the living room, awful jumpers in the laundry hampers. Bits and pieces of John all over 221B, finding a place for themselves, stomping their presence on a space that once was little more than a flat, and is now (sort of, kind of) a home.
Five times they shared a bed platonically, and one time they didn't.

Bookmarker's Notes
Too dysfunctional, too battered, too much co-dependency written into their DNA. They keep replacing one addiction with another that’s socially acceptable. Keep confusing one feeling for another, they’re stoic and stupid and emotionally awkward but somehow even when things were at their worst they found their way back to each other.

Summary
Red wine always makes him tipsier than usual and he finds himself saying, the words slurring a bit. “You know, I’ve got to ask. Do you always shoot cabbies for people you barely you know?”
John meets his gaze over the rim of his glass, and there’s something there that Sherlock can’t pin down. “Not for everyone,” he says, meaningfully, pointedly, his smile all teeth.Sherlock feels faint. He’s flirting. Is he? Sherlock has to backpedal, get out of the hole he’s dug himself into.
“You should come home with me tonight,” Oh god no, that’s the exact opposite of what he should be doing.
John’s eyes widen and he blinks at him. “Er-“
“I mean, 221B’s closer, it’s late,” he scrambles for words. “And you’ll be staying there anyway. I mean- well, I’m assuming. Ms Hudson’s already put up the bed-“ Christ, he’s not being clever and sexy at all, he’s blabbering like an idiot-

Maybe, if I save him, if I give him something worth living for, if I’m just the right balance between decent and a little bit mad, if you think I’m brilliant enough- maybe you’ll choose me.”

Summary
“And we”, he growled, “are here why, exactly?”
Sherlock painted the picture of innocence as he answered, ever so glibly: “I thought you’d enjoy a night out with friends. Mrs Hudson still has Rosie, we might as well make use of the free evening.”
It might have worked, if John couldn’t see Greg facepalming out of the corner of his eye. Molly was staring at her feet as if trying very hard not to give anything away. Really, none of them were good actors. Something was going on and all three of them were in on it.
Expecting to simply return home after a hideously simple case for an evening in with his flatmate and his daughter, John instead finds himself being dragged to a pub by Sherlock. But what starts out as a nice evening catching up with Molly and Greg soon reveals itself as a scheme to help him get back in the dating game after Mary's death. Too bad that John really only wants one person - and he's trying to set him up.

You’re not gay.”
“You’re married to your work,” John shot back.
“No, John, you’re not gay !”
“And you turned me down before I could even think of asking you out, you bloody git, and then made yourself the most important person in my life. Before trying to off yourself again and again and again for my bloody fucking happiness.”
Gawping like a fish, Sherlock stammered out: “…you’re…welcome?” He seemed genuinely unsure whether this was an appropriate answer or not.
