He’s not sixteen anymore. In the time since that summer of ‘99, Josuke has better learned how to pick and choose his battles, and with a little well prescribed chemical help, as well as therapy, his impulse control is in a better place than it once was. And more than that, the thought of a single wrong move driving Jotaro away from him is threatening enough to keep Josuke from snapping. He bites the inside of his lower lip and looks away. Jotaro clears his throat: “In two months.”

He’s catching his breath when Roy laughs. It’s faint and tired sounding, but Jason still frowns and looks over at him. Roy’s eyes are closed and his face slack, expression completely blissed out, and for some reason he’s smiling lazily.
“What the hell was that for?”
Roy let’s his head roll to the side, cracking his eyes open. They’re glazed over and out of focus, but his grin doesn’t abate.
