I missed him so much, it felt like he had died but in all truth was that he is still alive. (Or so I hope he is.)
I tried to ignore the fact that he kissed my lips before I left Vegas. Last I saw was the fleeting view of his pale face as the cab drove away. I wasn't worried in the moment about his sad eyes, I was more worried about if the cab driver saw Boris kissing me.
Even if he did see it, I just hoped he wouldn't look at me weirdly. Even after a year of being back in New York City sucked.

Summary
Mike realizes he's got feelings for Will. Will's just trying to figure out why Mike's been acting so weird these last few weeks. The same story is told from each perspective as both boys navigate late-night gaming sessions, trouble sleeping, and getting caught in a really big lie.
This is post season 5 vol. 1, so once vol. 2 comes out, none of this will be canon. But everything is nice while it lasts.
