Wu sees Mako in an article and decides that he is the perfect person to be his new bodyguard. The others in the past have been mean, judgemental, and terrible at their jobs. But this Firebender with the intense eyes and strong silhouette seems like he can get the job done.

It’s not that he doesn’t care about the upcoming anniversary livestream they are currently planning per se, but more like there are only so many ways you can go over repeated questions such as ”what color should the balloons be?” and ”at what point should the candles be lit?” before you stop paying attention.
