Summary
On New Year’s Eve of 1990, Mike accidentally contributes to the rapid progression of the little game he and Will have been playing for the past year and a half. It’s then that he realizes that he has to straighten himself up before the clock strikes twelve and he’s stuck being the same yearning loser he’s been forever.
When the Party gets to their chosen celebration of the night, Mike makes an attempt to get drunk enough to get his mind off the thing he can’t ever seem to forget about and enjoy the atmosphere.
But when he sees a stupid frat guy flirting with Will, the familiar jealousy bubbles in his gut, and he stands alone with his thoughts until he gives up on the entire notion of moving on. Then Will finds him sulking outside, and the game starts to progress in a direction that neither of them are prepared to take.

Summary
Mike turns around and sees Will standing in the middle of the hallway and stops.
"Hey," he says. "Can I help you find something?"
His voice in person is slightly different from the radio. This is the version before the edit. Louder, and a little breathless from arguing, and entirely unaware of how often Will had listened to him.
"I'm here about a logo commission," Will says. He sounds, he thinks, almost normal. Even with his brain operating at half-capacity.
Mike's eyebrows go up in surprise. "We're getting a new logo?"

Summary
“Oh come on Mike! When have we ever been invited to a party? We can play D&D any other night this summer. This? We can't. Come on, let's go, please.” Will begs.
Mike looks over at Dustin who's clasped his hands together in mock prayer.
“Fine! Fine, we can go to Stacey's stupid party.”
Dustin cheers and high fives Will, “Guys did you hear that?!” Dustin yells down the stairs of Mike's basement.
Max and Lucas gather at the bottom of the staircase. Both of them shoot Dustin a questioning look.
“Mike said yes! Will finally convinced him.”
Max and Lucas give each other a quick look before fighting to sprint up the stairs together. Max barrels through the three of them.
“What are you morons waiting for? Let's go!” Max yells as she drags Lucas out the door in the garage.
Dustin trails after immediately and Will glances over to Mike who's shaking his head.
“Ready to party like stupid teenagers?” Will asks as he grabs his jacket off the table.
Mike smiles as he follows after, “As I’ll ever be.”
Or
Will finally convinces Mike to go to Stacey's graduation party instead of playing DND all night.

Summary
“I'm glad you're here.”
Mike sniffled.
“I don't want to leave.”
Will's hand reached out, wanting to brush the hair away from Mike's forehead, but it fell short, stopping by his shoulder. He squeezed it lightly.
“You don't have to leave,” he whispered instead. Then, quieter: “Please don't leave.”
Mike and Will find comfort in each other, trying to hold on despite the ghosts of their past haunting their lives.
