In his first year at the Academy, Jim loses a bet to Finnegan and his pals. As forfeit, he must trick-or-treat the Academy's instructors while wearing a rather peculiar costume. Somewhat resentful of the task although others find it funny, Jim collects his share of mockeries, rants, threats of suspension and unwanted propositions. Angry and exhausted, he has just one officer left to visit, and it's the one he's been secretly fantasizing about since the beginning of the term - Spock.
