Summary
Ricky’s not delusional. He’s not blinded by his apathy. He’s much more aware of how bad things have gotten in his personal life. Honestly, it feels a little cruel to even call it that. To refer to his relationship with Gyuvin as nothing more than a category in the subsection of his life.
Ricky’s tired, and he’s closed himself off from everyone. However, there is truly only one person. Ricky used to have a group of friends, and a community that uplifted his spirits and brought out the sun. Most of them haven’t spoken in a long time, though. Ricky’s been too busy and too tired. Too tired.
Gyuvin’s different. He’s always been different. Gyuvin was the sun. Or, is. He’s still the same, but Ricky’s changed. Ricky notices the way Gyuvin still tries to shine for him, still tries to be the person he used to love.
Ricky does love him. He never stopped, and he’s confident he never will. Despite that, he’s gotten… complacent. Still. Frozen, almost.
He isn’t really sure how to explain it.
Ricky's been going through a hard time. On top of that, his relationship with Gyuvin has become strained. Neither of them know how to fix it, so neither of them try.

The next few days. Ricky tries harder.

He says “I love you” three times in a single day. Once during breakfast, another when they say bye to go to their classes, and another when Gyuvin sneezes.
Yeah.
Gyuvin blinks in surprise, then laughs. “Bless you, too?”Ricky’s ex-boyfriends’s words get to his head. Ricky starts thinking he’s not doing enough for Gyuvin.
