Summary
Tsukasa Tenma considered himself someone who took his job very seriously.
He was a knight, a rather high ranking one at that. He’d been with the knights for most of his life, it took a lot of work to earn the amount of trust he has from the kingdom, and he knows the kingdom relies on the knights to keep them safe. Therefore, he always accepted each job he received with enthusiasm. The kingdom was happy, a place known for its light and purity, and Tsukasa planned on ensuring it stayed the way.
That was until the disappearances began again.
A few years ago, there was a series of strange disappearances that plagued the kingdom. People seemingly vanished without a trace. Now, there were rumours it was beginning again. A second plague of souls lost.. The kingdom was on high alert. That’s why Tsukasa was tasked with an especially strange job. He was required to look after the royal sorcerer.

Tsukasa tensed. He felt a strange sensation on the back of his neck, as if the hairs were standing on end. His hands came to a halt as the soap slid off the half-washed pan and into the water below.
He felt like he was being watched.
Tsukasa’s head shot up, his eyes scanning around the cafe for anything, any sign of someone.
It must’ve just been his imagination. That’s all.
Maybe Tsukasa was more tired than he initially thought. He turned back to the sink, taking up the washcloth again and scrubbing the pan some more. When he set the pan aside to dry, he felt that strange feeling again. He couldn’t help but take another look around.
The kitchen was empty aside from him, looking over the counter at the rest of the cafe gave him no answers, it was empty as well. The window-
Tsukasa felt his heart nearly stop, he blinked and.. No, nothing there either. He could’ve sworn he saw something in the window. He lifted a hand to rub his eyes. He must just be imagining things... Why would anybody be watching him through a window-

The bright neon buildings standing almost as tall as the second moon all seemed to blend together after a while. Tsukasa wandered until the people grew scarce and the neon lights grew dim, he couldn’t even find an intergalactic ship station anywhere. He curled his arms around himself, feeling a pit in his stomach that he couldn’t quite identify. Everything was fine, he would just keep walking until he found a station. He would find one soon enough, right? Tsukasa couldn’t quite identify that feeling in his stomach, twisting it into knots. He wasn’t afraid, was he?
Tsukasa’s thoughts were quickly interrupted by a deep humming sound. It almost sounded like a vehicle of sorts, but when he squinted at the road ahead, he couldn’t see anything.. Despite the noise getting louder..
“EXCUSE ME!”
Tsukasa heard a sudden shout from behind him. Whipping around, all he saw was a young boy on a hoverboard hurtling towards him.

Vil pulled his robe a little tighter with a sniffle. It had been years since the last time he’d come down with a cold. So long, in fact, that he barely remembered it. The last time, his illness had forced him to miss several days of filming – that much he wouldn’t ever forget. Potentially missing a few days of classes didn’t seem so bad by comparison.
