    Summary

Five years before the Mandalorian even met the Child, Mando took what he thought was going to be the easiest bounty with the highest payout of his career thus far. Capturing a runaway dancer - a ballerina versus a Mandalorian - was laughable.

    Until it wasn’t.

The Mandalorian is a bounty hunter. His job is to collect a quarry and then return it for a profit. It doesn’t matter what happens to said quarry once he has returned it and collected the credits. So, then, why can he not forget about a sad pair of emerald green eyes after he turned her in? And when their paths cross again five years later, and he sees the condition his former quarry is in, how can he justify returning the Child to them? He is a bounty hunter. It doesn’t matter what happens to them… right?

    Summary

The cold muzzle of his blaster pressed firmly against the back of the woman’s skull.

“Don’t move.” he said, his voice flat and unyielding through the modulator.

    The room stilled.

Grogu started making happy noises, his stubby arms stretching out toward Din, the forgotten meal slipping entirely from his attention. “Buuh,” he grunted, repeating it over and over, eyes bright.

“Buir?” the woman’s voice was soft but measured, a question aimed at Grogu. The child’s gaze flicked to her, then back to Din, repeating the sound with a nod of his wrinkled head.
She let out a long sigh, the motion slight, almost imperceptible against the muzzle. Her accent carried the rhythm and cadence of Core Worlds— It struck him as entirely out of place here.

He didn’t like her speaking Mando’a.

Din pressed the cold metal harder against the back of her skull, testing her resolve. She said nothing for a few heartbeats.

    Then, finally, she spoke.

“So… you’re the reason my child is wearing chainmail.”

    Summary

There’s a very specific kind of heartbreak reserved for girls who grow up loving the boy who never notices. Camille Maxwell knows this better than anyone.

At Briar University, Cami is known as Beau Maxwell’s younger sister — sharp-witted, hopelessly ambitious, and addicted to 2000s romcoms. A journalism major with dreams of New York publishing houses and a future at Condé Nast, she’s spent years trying to outgrow one thing: Dean Di Laurentis.

Her brother’s best friend. Summer’s older brother. The boy who still calls her Millie like she’s sixteen instead of twenty. And she almost moved on — until college threw Dean back into her orbit.

Now he’s everywhere again, and watching him fall for someone else forces Cami to realize something painful: Dean is capable of love. It’s just never been her. So she pulls away. Except Dean notices.

For the first time, he sees Camille Maxwell not as Beau’s little sister, but as someone sharp, beautiful, and impossible to ignore. And just when Dean starts realizing what she means to him, he’s faced with the one thing he never expected: The possibility of losing her.

Melinoe Clarillane is a runaway vampire heiress, determined to leave behind the shadows and trauma of her coven and the suffocating politics of her kind. She wants nothing more but a quiet, calm life, denying the natural hunger for power that comes with being a Clarillane.

Remus Blackwood is a charismatic alpha and heir to a sprawling empire in both the corporate and supernatural world. He's wealthy, seductive, and untouchable. He thrives on fleeting pleasures and avoids anything that would remind him of his expectations as alpha when it comes to relationships.

When Melinoe and Remus cross paths, everything they've been taught about loyalty, bloodlines, and ancient rivalries begins to unravel. Their connection is forbidden but intoxicating and impossible to ignore. But desire comes with a heavy price, and in a world where werewolves and vampires are sworn enemies, love may be the most dangerous curse of all.

    Summary

Satin Snow was born from ice and roses, raised beneath the glittering lights of the Capitol with a future already written for her. But behind her perfect smile lives a dangerous dream, a Panem kinder than the one her family created.

Finnick Odair belongs to the sea. To saltwater and storms. To a life the Capitol tried to turn into something beautiful enough to own.

Their arrangement was never supposed to mean anything.

Just stolen freedom for Finnick. Just another careful step toward a better future for Satin. A performance for the Capitol cameras. A story the city would happily consume.

But somewhere between whispered conversations, ocean air, and the loneliness they both carried so well, the line between pretend and real began to disappear.
