Summary
Julia offers her magic up willingly, and Alice doesn’t care why (there’s clearly a why, clearly something very, very wrong with Julia). She takes it greedily and desperately, frantically grasping for the only thing in the world that might make her feel a little more at home in this new-old body, the only right thing left in the world at all.
It’s electrifying when she feels it again, her body crackling with it, her nerves her spine her blood her bones—it’s everywhere. She shudders, lets the feeling run down through her, and it’s like her skin fits a little more comfortably now, like an itch she hadn’t even been able to properly recognize has finally gone.
Alice breathes, and it’s easier.

The life and times of Leonard H. McCoy MD/PhD … If Leonard McCoy's life could get any fucking weirder, it would be … Jesus, he didn't even want to think what that could possibly mean, because it's already been too fucking weird to make any kind of rational sense. Summary
Riker and Crusher get closer when she begins to notice how closely Riker pays attention to Wesley’s studies, and how well he takes care of him. He always makes time for him, always takes the moment or two that he needs to center himself and soften his tone to answer Wesley’s questions - and Crusher notices that.
Wesley will never have a father, and Will will never have a child, but what else is the Enterprise about, other than finding a family to build out of the people around you?
