“Eddie, please. Just tell me what’s going on with you,” Buck pleaded softly.Eddie felt his heart break as he stood there, the slight tremor of Buck’s voice invading every crevice of his being and sitting there in awful silence. He reached for the tap and turned it off, putting the plate down next to the sink.
He turned to face Buck, and somehow building the courage to meet his deep blue eyes was harder than finding the bravery (or perhaps stupidity) of throwing himself off a bridge. He did it, though. Buck’s eyes bore into his own, searching Eddie for answers, just like they had always been able to do. But he drew a blank, and Eddie knew why. This answer wasn’t one Buck would ever believe; it had taken Eddie way too long to find it himself.

In the aftermath of Eddie jumping off yet another bridge, Buck confronts him about his behaviour. Eddie comes clean to him, finally admitting his feelings.
They act on said feelings, but a bit of miscommunication (nothing major and nothing that lasts too long, I promise) gets in the way of a happy relationship... until they get sense knocked into them :)
