Summary
After rescuing Mu Qing from sacrificing himself in Mount Tonglu, Feng Xin's feelings rise to the surface. After 800 years of hiding them, this one moment sent him over the edge. He bites his lip as he types the phone number into a new message, cursor blinking to taunt him.
Is this crazy? His finger frantically backspaces the phone number before locking his phone and clutching it to his erratically beating chest. He turns onto his stomach, groaning into his pillow, unsure what to do. He sits up onto his elbows and types the number again, this time ignoring the anxious excitement brimming under his skin.
It’s anonymous, he reminds himself. A one time thing, and free too.
