Summary
By God, how he longed day after day in college for the smallest of crumbs of romantic affection and attention from Alexander. He would die peacefully if he could get even a single kiss on the cheek from him. He knew (or at least he thought he knew) he would never feel the same, though, so he moved on and married his ex-girlfriend from high school, telling her he didn't know why he had cut her off. If anything, he only married her out of pity because he felt bad for leaving her. Everything went well, and he was happy. That was, until a new employee showed up at his workplace. Oh, how he hated that familiar face, the one that still lurked in his dreams.
