Summary
Strangers, family, friends, maybe lovers and maybe nots. They all come from different backgrounds, with different hopes, dreams and aspirations. Their common ground? They all know Max or Carlos or Max ‘and’ Carlos, and they all have a talent for complicating their lives.
This is the tale of a group of friends whose roads run in parallels, cross, tangle and untangle only to tangle again. There is friendship and love, problems and solutions, misery and joy. There is a life with all its ingredients.

“Charles. Practically the same name as yours, just… French, I think,” he glances up.
“Nice, Chuck, is it? Okay. Well, want to buy me a drink?”
The audacity of this kid. He had balls. Charles scoffs, shaking his head. “Usually, it’s the other way around.”
“No, not this time,” Carlos grins back—Spanish, Charles briefly recognizes—but the man continues anyway, “I just thought you weren’t getting any. I mean, I’m sure your friends aren’t either, so I can…”
Charles is definitely not making a mistake when he lets this arrangement with some random guy go on further than intended. Definitely not.

Oscar placed his drink back onto the table and shrugged, unwilling to give the alpha the satisfaction of knowing he had followed his career. "I’ve heard of you." He bit his lip and decided to take a jab at the cocky alpha. If his ego were to inflate any more he’d fly past the stratosphere. "Little over confident coming into turn 17 in Miami though. You totally missed the braking point and ruined the race for Perez."
Oscar was almost disappointed Carlos did not take the bait, instead he chuckled, a deep, resonant sound. "Well, Oscar Piastri, you look like you belong here more than you let on."
