“I said give me a second!” He snaps over his shoulder, and shit, he shouldn’t have looked, because he can’t figure out Umemiya’s expression. It’s way too neutral. Surprised? He doesn't know. There’s no scorn, no disgust, but there’s no warmth either. None of the reassurance he’d apparently been hoping for, and God, isn’t that a little pathetic?
Sakura looks at his hands again. His skin is a mess. It’s all red and white and he thinks there’s purple crescents blooming from where he almost tore his flesh open with his nails.

Summary
Sakura looks furious.
His rage is an incandescent thing as he scans the room and finally lands on Suo. Suo runs a quick mental check to think of what he’s done to incur Sakura’s ire recently and comes up blank. Even his usual teasing has been lackluster, he can’t think of a single thing.
All the same, Sakura stalks towards him with singleminded intensity, ignoring everyone calling out greetings to him. Suo arcs a brow and gamely sets his teacup down. He loves Sakura’s anger. Rather, he loves to be the sole focus of any of Sakura’s emotions and anger just so happens to be the easiest one to get

Summary
Before anyone else can react, Suo is already at Sakura's side, wrapping his own Furin jacket around the boy's waist. "Sakura-kun, let's go outside for a sec, okay?", he says, sounding calm though his flared nostrils betray him. Sakura doesn't even protest, stumbling as Suo drags him along and slides the classroom door closed behind them.
"Um," Akihiko says into the silence the two have left behind. He watches Sugishita wordlessly open the windows to let fresh air inside.
"Do you think Sakura-chan doesn't know what a heat is?", Kiryu asks.
— Sakura is the first in his class to present, and Nirei doesn't know how to deal with it. (Neither does Sakura.)
