Shane is not watching Ilya Rozanov purposely, he's just watching ice hockey.
But when Ilya punches his opponent in the face–twice–it stirs something within Shane.Ilya's knuckles were red, his skin had split but he also knew that wasn't his blood that covered most of his skin. That was Kent's blood. Shane was sure Ilya felt so fucking satisfied. He wondered if Ilya had done any lasting damage or broke Kent’s nose. From the way Ilya was smiling to himself in the penalty box, that seemed to be the case.
Shane was staring at the TV in awe. Mouth wide open as he registered what was going on on the TV in front of him.

Summary
Coming out to the Pike's was not the plan for the evening.
It wasn't even in the top 10 list.
And yet, here Shane is, sitting on their living room floor, having fought Rose Landry to get his phone back, and making a Face. He knows he is making a face, he can feel his forehead scrunching and his jaw aching and he can do nothing about it except wait for -
"So who's Lily?!"
Fuck.
This is mostly a series of vignettes focusing on Shane's friendships with Rose, Jackie and Hayden, in that order.

Day 2: Childhood Friends to Lovers
"No, no, you can't-" The voice who he presumed to be one belonging to Mr. Walker called out way too quickly. "There's an overhanging beam on our side that's in a really sketchy spot and if it falls because of impact, I'd rather all the kids be out of here first."
"Sir, we have to get you out at some point," Sapnap said, peeking his head into the hole.
"Pandas?"
Sapnap froze, his light still shining on the face of the person talking on the other side. Sapnap's eyes barely adjusted to try and make out his face, but by that nickname alone, Sapnap didn't need to see his face.
Mr. Walker, Mr. Walker,
Mr. Walker.Dream.
"Dream?" Sapnap muttered in shock.
"A firefighter," Dream laughed. "Oh wow."
If you told Sapnap that he would once again meet his long-lost childhood best friend, the one that went away to join the Navy SEALs, in the middle of trying to do his job, saving people from a natural disaster, Sapnap would simply say no thank you. No, he didn't want to meet the so-called best friend who left for 7 years, 4 of which were in total radio silence, causing Sapnap to think he was dead. No thank you.
