“Let me go you prick!” Aeron screeched, yanking his arm away, and took a few generous steps away. Davos frowned and sucked his lips over his teeth before running his tongue over them like a wolf.
“I just broke that kid's nose for you and I’m the prick?” Davos demanded not caring for personal space and evaded Aeron’s senses. Davos hadn’t changed, sure, physically he had grown into himself and carried himself with an oozing sense of confidence and stoicism. But Davos himself? No, he was still the brazen, stubborn, vile Blackwood Aeron had grown to painfully hate.
“I didn’t ask you to,” Aeron growled and pushed the boy out of his personal bubble. More tears were slipping out of his eyelids and he took the edge of his sleeve and scrubbed hard at his face. He wasn’t sure what he was crying about anymore, the public breakup with Oscar, the slur, or Davos fucking Blackwood of all people being his knight in shining armor after making his life a living hell for so long.

“The lady at the bar. The pretty blonde one. Do you love her now? Did you fuck her? Is that why you don't want to fuck me?” Aeron's lip trembles as he speaks and it takes everything in Davos to not laugh in his face.
“No. No, I still love you, Bracken. I didn't fuck her,” Davos assures him, perhaps a little too amused for what the situation called for as his cheek dimples when he tries to bite back his smile. After all the bullshit they've put each other through recently, it seems funny to have Aeron begging for his love, and attention. Funny, because if it wasn't funny, it would shatter anything that was left of his broken, wretched, heart.
“Are you gonna fuck her?” Aeron asks suspiciously, eyes narrowing in inspection. Still not convinced.
This boy was gonna be the death of him.
