Eddie leaned against the locker, his eyebrows raised as he looked at Buck. "So, Tommy left this morning?" he asked.
Buck sighed, his shoulders slumping. "Yeah," he replied sadly. "Despite all of my efforts to seduce him into staying."
A smirk tugged at the corner of Eddie's mouth. "And you really thought that would work, huh?" he teased, shaking his head in amusement.
Buck shrugged, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. "I mean, not really, but at least I got some mind-blowing goodbye sex out of it," he quipped, his eyes sparkling. "That man knows how to leave a lasting impression."

Summary
Walking into Hen, Karen and Eddie sprawled out on the sofa, giggling about something between them. Hen whispered something about Buck as he walked into the house, and they burst out giggling all over again. Buck noticed the three empty bottle of wine left out on the coffee table, the glasses and empty bowls of food they had all eaten through the evening.
“OK, tough guy,” Buck said, pulling Eddie up by his arms, to his feet, “Let’s get you home, and in bed,”
“At least buy me dinner first, Buck,” Eddie slurred, placing his hands on Buck’s shoulders.
“You are wine drunk,” Buck ignored the comments.
“Doesn’t mean it isn’t true,” Eddie mumbled, pouting because in his mind Buck was rejecting him, in his massively drunk mind, Buck might as well have said that he wasn’t interested.

eddie getting wine drunk ends up causing him to lose his filter around buck, who had to pick him up from the wilson household. the next morning, he faces what he had said the night before.

Summary
It takes Buck longer than it should to notice. Which - okay, sure, he’s oblivious about certain things even on the best of days, and he got struck by lightning less than a month ago, so maybe he should give himself a break. But still, it feels like something he should have noticed, so he ends up feeling pretty stupid for not noticing.
Since Buck woke up in the hospital, Eddie’s stopped touching him.
