Summary
After he swoops in to save Rook from Elgar'nan's trap, Solas is faced with the Evanuris' revenge. Trapped in his prison and infested with the blighted essence of a desire demon, he has no choice but to depend on Rook.
It is only when Rook steps almost within arms reach of him that Solas’ head shoots up, his eyes meeting theirs. His pained expression briefly gives way to shock.
“It’s all right. I know.” Rook falls into a soothing tone without thinking. “I know what’s happening to you.”
Something like defiance crosses Solas’ face. Or trepidation, perhaps.
“I know you might not want me to touch you”, Rook continues. “I get it. But it *will* help.”
Rook kneels in front of Solas, now closer to his eye-level.
“This is… not your problem”, Solas manages, the words rasped through gritted teeth.

“You know that for sure?” You ask, pressing the eraser into the space under your bottom lip, mulling on this. You stare up to the ticker-tape screen behind Clark’s head where Superman and Mr. Terrific pose rather woodenly for the cameras.
“Sure I’m sure.” Clark reassures you. “I, uh, took the liberty of asking during my interview with him a few days ago.”
“Mmm,” you say despondently, pushing yourself into a slow revolution in your office chair, “Because I would’ve signed up.”
“Uh, for what?” Clark asks, bewildered as he passes you by on the third rotation.
“For the harem.” You reply simply, reaching out a hand to the cluttered edge of your desk to stop yourself.

“Um, Emma… Jacob’s over there,” you say, pointing at him. You feel as if the remark is unnecessary, considering that it’s not quite that dark out. Besides, Jacob and you don’t look very similar.
“I know,” Emma answers confidently, continuing to walk towards you. She doesn’t stop and you find yourself shrinking back in your seat. Inexplicably, Emma leans forward and kisses you. You have to put a hand on your seat to prevent yourself from falling over from the sudden pressure. She places her hands on your face and pulls you closer. You feel like you’re in some sort of weird fever dream, utterly frozen as Emma kisses you.
Emma kisses you during Truth or Dare... What should you do?
