Summary
Stardew Valley romance with original player-character, Shane, and much more. Complies to the general canon (characters, features, locations) but creates a fully formed story around the valley and the relationships/ lives of the individuals within. Feel free to send suggestions!
“Worker LB140507, in cubicle 18, please report to the mail room.”
Lillian let her forehead hit the desk, groaning internally. She pulled herself up, fiddling with the itching polyester material of her bright blue Joja-standard uniform polo. Her feet seemed to move beyond her body, her grief-struck head floating somewhere above herself as she let her body lead her. A tired looking, pimple addled teen passed her a singular envelope through the window slot without making eye contact, fiddling absently with the headphone in his ear. Mumbling what was hopefully a thanks, Lillian began back to her desk, turning the envelope in her hands and freezing abruptly, much to the annoyance of a blabbering intern holding a tray of coffee. The letter had no sender name, only a purple wax seal on the back with a small, star-shaped fruit surrounded by vines. The words on the front burned their way into her mind:
“Open when you need something to change.”

Summary
Shane had nearly died.
He would have, if the farmer hadn’t found him on the edge of that cliff, staring into the sea below and wishing he was brave enough to take the final step.
She had saved him. She had pulled him back from the edge and dragged him all the way across the valley until she found help. Through the dark and the rain, all the way to Harvey’s door.
She saved his life in every way a person can.
It’s made him a little obsessed with her, not that he’d ever tell her that. Not when she refuses to have anything to do with him now. She wants nothing to do with him, and he wants everything to do with her.
A year later, when he’s finally given the chance to be close to her again, Shane scrambles to do everything in his power to not mess it all up. He can’t mess this up.
He can’t let all this wanting be for nothing.
