Summary
Under the pale light of the rink’s lamps, Leo looks ethereal, almost otherworldly and as soon as he’s done, Sangwon finds himself skating towards his best friend with arms wide open.
“That’s your best program ever, hyung,” he says, his emotions overflowing.
Leo laughs softly, caught somewhere between bashful and disbelieving as he looks back at Sangwon, but he doesn’t pull away when Sangwon wraps him in a hug right there in the middle of the ice. Their skates shift slightly beneath them, blades catching on the etched lines of the routine Leo just marked into the rink, but neither of them lets go. Sangwon holds on tightly, as if the program had somehow cracked something open in him, some pride and awe that had been building up for so long and is now pushing him to conquer something even greater.
