Husk snorts, gripping the cup, the dice underneath waiting to be revealed. “ Not worth the trouble.”
“ Uh huh. Luckily, I like a little trouble. Thought you would too.” Angel says, meeting Husk’s eyes. They stare at each other, locked for a second. Angel quickly glances down at the cup, a little smile on his face. “ Pull up the cup.” He whispers, eyes flicking back up to meet Husk’s.

Baxter just wanted to collect some data, disprove redemption, and maybe get a decent night’s sleep. Instead, he’s stuck in a hotel full of lunatics, explosions, and a one-eyed maid who keeps calling him a “bad boy.” Angel Dust won’t stop talking, Alastor keeps smiling, and Charlie’s singing about salvation like it’s a math equation he can’t solve. He’s surrounded by noise, emotion, and—worst of all—feelings. Hell, truly is punishment for the logically inclined.
