Summary
The lightning strikes purple against the dark sky, thunder loud as drops of rain threaten to spill at any second.
Maybe if he weren’t so emotionally incompetent, he would know how to deal with this. If that were the case, he wouldn’t have given up Robin at all, because he would believe it when Bruce told him his presence was appreciated, believe Dick when he called him an equal. And maybe then, he wouldn’t be pushing away everything that mattered to him. His family mattered; Robin mattered; Kon mattered.
Sometimes, in the mess of emotions he called his heart, it felt as though Conner Kent was the only thing that mattered to him.

Summary
Regulus Black knows about the horcruxes. He will use that knowledge to locate and destroy every last one of them. Of course, his friends won't let him do this alone.
Peter Pettigrew is a spy. A damn good one, at that. When he finds out about the horcruxes, he immediately warns his best friends.
Mary Macdonald is great at eavesdropping, and the Valkyries love to hunt.
Together, the Serpents, the Marauders, and the Valkyries hunt down the five horcruxes. A journey containing lots of pain and suffering, but also love, as the 12 discover themselves and find comfort in people they've spent years trying to hate. Strangers become friends, enemies become lovers, and brothers who hate each other become brothers who love each other.
A quest. A mission. An odyssey. An inevitable death.
