    Nothing scratches the primal, animal itch in the back of Steve's hindbrain like having his alpha chase him. It further proves to Steve what consciously already knows; he already knows that his alpha is worthy of having him, that his alpha can catch him and therefore he can take him, yet, it's still pleasurable to have the reminder. It's still pleasurable to have that itch scratched.

    Which is the reason why Steve ends up running from his alpha - heart beating out of his chest, dick hard in his pants, and hole already beginning to produce slick - through the middle of a goddamn forest. Even while running away, he cannot wait for his alpha to run him down, pin him down, and have his way with him. Behaving just the way their alpha and omega ancestors did. It's animal.

    Summary

    This began as a series of posts on Tumblr, started by @spatscolombo, about an AU for Star Trek where Jim was the Science Officer and Spock the Enterprise's Captain. Along the way, Jim picked up the tendency to be clumsy and use Scooby Doo-style epithets instead of outright cursing.     The setup is this: Spock is the Captain of the Enterprise, Jim the geeky new guy who joins the Sciences department. Along the way, the Reboot gets rebooted.
