Summary
The world changes around him - morphs, bleeds to watercolor pain behind his eyes and in his bones, constricts and contracts - until there is copper in his mouth and iron in his lungs. When he blinks his eyes open, nothing is the same: colors are washed into something not-quite-sepia, the walls are too-large, and they sky is impossibly, impossibly far away.
Or: Aizawa is turned into a cat by an old enemy, changing his life from stressful to desperate. With the Hero Commission wanting him for his hyper-intelligence - not knowing he is, in fact, their popular pro-hero Eraserhead - the League promising to find him, and only a few brave friends standing between him and a miserable life - or death - it is all Aizawa can do to hold onto hope. But hope remains, as long as he has those he loves.

Summary
It is All Might who tells him what happens - who tells him the truth of what happened in a dark alley in Hosu City. Aizawa wastes no time in packing a bag and hopping on a train, intent on making certain that his students are alive and well - or, at least, alive. Memories are not far afield, though, and Aizawa is forced to confront demons in many forms.

(In the middle of an Ohio field, where headstones dot the landscape like pebbles on a beach, Yelena leans down and puts her head against the one marking Natasha’s grave.

Summary
There are few rituals among the girls of the Red Room, and fewer still that retain some innocence, but this is one of them. The Widows play with each others’ hair, combing and curling and brushing and braiding. It’s a practical enough pastime that the handlers have never cracked down on it, though they have looked askance whenever the Widows get too creative with their makeshift hairdressing.
Five times someone braids Yelena's hair, and one time she braids someone else's.

Summary
When a raid goes wrong, and Aizawa gets taken, he's hardly expecting to be found.
He's a professional Underground Hero. He's seen situations like this play out before, and knows how the cards usually fall.
He's got people he'll miss of course, and he feels terrible about what this is going to do to Hizashi and Eri, but these are the types of risks he agreed to when he signed on the dotted line all those years ago. He's ready to accept his fate.
It's a good thing his former students are tenacious little shits.
