Summary
After he suffered heavy injuries defending the capital, no sane man would send Gu Yun out on the field again. Even paranoid Li Feng would not dare, to say nothing of the frightened officials, or quietly plotting Chang Geng. Consequently, no one anticipated Gu Yun would drag his half-dead self to court and ask for a deployment.

Summary
Shen Shiliu, while lovely, was only ever a thinly applied coat of paint over the masterpiece that’s Gu Yun. Or perhaps, he was only one particular aspect of Gu Yun, and isn't it to be expected that more of Gu Yun slips through, sometimes?
A collection of short vignettes where Shen Shiliu seems more… well, more than just Shen Shiliu, and Chang Geng has to simply trust that he isn’t being lied by the person he cares for and trusts most.
