   “You ok?” Mack sucks his bottom lip into his mouth after he asks, chewing on it absentmindedly. Will watches the movement like a predator watches his prey.

   “Yeah.” It comes out breathier than Will would have liked, but Mack nods and turns his attention back to the group.
