Summary
“When I got the notice for the draft board, I knew–well, I thought I knew–what it entailed,” Hawkeye said, words cracking with subdued emotion. “War meant death, right? Blood and gore, loss, bombs and bullets, death and…more death. So much death.”
B.J. stayed quiet, throat tight and eyes misty.
“It was supposed to be me, Beej,” Hawkeye went on, voice jagged like broken glass. “I got the notice, I was going to this stupid war, this goddamned police action. Where’s the justice in this? The fairness of it all? If one of us had to die, why couldn’t it…why couldn’t it have been me? ”A call from the States, an unexpected death, the ensuing fallout, a different end to the war. Or, better yet, an excuse to put my favorite surgeons through the emotional wringer for a bit of fun.

Summary
“For you, sire.” The woman said in a voice high and melodic. “As a token of our appreciation.”
In her palm lay a smooth, black stone, perfectly round, golden tendrils like lightning bolts racing across the surface.
Arthur raised his eyebrows.
“It’s…lovely.”
The old woman held the stone out to the prince. As he reached for it, she seized his wrist with her other hand, forcefully pushing the stone into his palm. Startled, Arthur tried to yank his hand away but she held firm.
“It is for luck, sire.” Her gaze transfixed the prince, and he could neither move nor speak. “May it bring you the fortune you deserve.”A mysterious gift leads Arthur into a fight for his life.

Summary
“Name?”
The nurse looks at him, green eyes equal parts kind and discerning.
“Steve,” he replies quickly, before he can second guess himself. He’s hoping against all hope that this nurse won’t know him on sight—and won’t know Eddie, either. A flash of the haunted look in Eddie’s brown eyes, the memory of the broken bottle against his neck, dispels any lingering doubts about Steve’s decision to lie.
“His name is Steve Harrington.”Or, a post-s4 finale, whumpy tale, where Eddie lives, Steve tells a lie, and the Party discovers there’s more to their favorite babysitter than they previously thought. Oh, and Steve and Eddie totally have a crush on one another. (We'll get there.)
Slowburn Steddie, an excuse to hurt Steve (not sorry), his dad is a POS in this, heed the tags! -

“It’s me,” Scully said, raising her hands in a placating gesture. “It’s me, Mulder.”
His dark eyes found hers and stared at her unblinkingly.
“Scully,” he exhaled. Just saying her name seemed to calm him, a prayer against the storm that held him in its sway.
Or, another drugged!Mulder fic, because I am a simple woman with simple, whumpy pleasures. -

Summary
What happened to Crowley after he was pulled down to Hell in an Edinburgh graveyard in 1827? How did Aziraphale cope with this abrupt and bewildering absence in his life? How did the upheaval of Crowley’s recall to Hell, and its aftermath in the Holy Water fight, almost undo the bond between the angel and the demon?
Through letters sent and unsent, we catch a glimpse of how they floated through the dark blue sky of fate and love for 140 years. We see what they wished to express from their innermost hearts, and how these pleas and hopes had to be recast by the constraints of what they were permitted. Featuring letters from 1851, 1862, 1941, and 1967.
Written for the DIWS (Do It With Style) Strongly Worded Notes epistolary event.

The Hunnihawk train is leaving the station, ya'll. This is a collection of fics detailing my spin on the transformation of B.J. and Hawkeye's relationship from best friends to something more. Most of the titles within this series are taken from favorite poems or song lyrics, and all inspired by MASH tumblr posts (which I do my best to include in the notes). So, if you're searching for very fluffy (and sometimes angsty) Hunnihawk content, you've come to the right series!

Summary
A collection of stories, all inspired by Tumblr posts, about our two favorite surgeons in the 4077th: B.J. Hunnicutt and Hawkeye Pierce. These will focus on the incredible bond the two men forged during the Korean War, during the good times and the bad. By the end, they are not just best friends, but maybe something more.

The thing is, when Samira Mohan offered to be one of the people he checked in with before “getting some air,” he hadn’t intended to ever take her up on it. For so very many, very good reasons.

Summary
She has to say it. She has to say it, because the last time someone was rolled away from her on a gurney it was to the morgue. Brushing the pads of her thumbs over his cheekbones, Samira stoops until their foreheads touch, her lips ghosting over his.
“I love you,” she whispers, eyes wide open.
Jack’s mouth curves into a gentle smile.
“I know.”
++
At shift change, Jack is stabbed by a patient brought into the Pitt. Samira Mohan can only watch, and wait, and wait.

Summary
Abbot lifted his head to look down at her. “See, that’s the post-traumatic stress. Something happens that your brain decides is a life or death situation. You have a massive adrenaline kick while it’s all happening, and then when it’s bleeding out of you on the comedown, your brain throws out anything that’s not completely vital. The amount of car crash patients we have who don’t even remember coming to the ER when they submit requests for their medical records for insurance… the brain’s a weird thing, Mohan.”
“Yeah,” she said, shooting him a look out of the side of her eyes. “It can even make you convinced you have to hurt yourself in order to seek external validation when the most logical course of action is rest.”
He snorted softly, shaking his head and leaning it back. “God,” he muttered, his cheeks stained pink. “Robby was right. You should have gone into psych.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A night shift from hell ends in Mohan giving Abbot a ride back to his place, where tensions finally boil over.
