Summary
Seonghwa cups his hand out in an attempt to catch a snowflake but it proves to be quite difficult with Hongjoong standing in front of him and limiting his movement. While Seonghwa maneuvers his hand around, eyes wide with astonishment and lips stretched out in a small smile, Hongjoong keeps his gaze fixed on his friend.
“Star,” Hongjoong calls out to him as Seonghwa cries out triumphantly, “I caught one!”
Seonghwa excitedly holds his hand out to Hongjoong, “look!”
But Hongjoong would prefer to look at him.

Hongjoong has never been good with feelings or expressing himself; he's only ever wanted to convey it through music. So when he makes an unexpected friend in his repeat desk mate, proper and polite Park Seonghwa, he doesn't think the friendship will last.
Until it flourishes into something beyond his understanding and Hongjoong is faced with coming to terms with his feelings, working up the courage to confess, and then has to deal with the many oddballs life throws his way.

Seonghwa meets Hongjoong when he takes an embarrassing tumble down the steps of the dance studio he works at. In a tutu. Luckily for him, Hongjoong doesn't seem to mind at all; in fact, he's quite eager to see Seonghwa in it again.

Essentially—the person in front of him was hands down the hottest human being he’d ever seen. Unfortunately, the fever had also made his brain to mouth filter non-existent.
“Fuck, you’re hot.”
For a moment no one said anything. The boy—Taehyun—only blinking in surprise and then blushed prettily. Making Beomgyu want to slam his head against the table repeatedly.
“You’re pretty too,” Beomgyu whined.
Or Beomgyu meets Taehyun when he's sick and in a fever daze he calls him hot and proposes to him.

Beomgyu looked almost exactly like Taehyun remembered him, sans the rebellious blond streaks in his jet black hair that he’d sported while they were still law students. He still had the same delicate features, though, the same broad shoulders and long limbs. The moment he made eye contact with Taehyun, his face folded into a scowl. “You’ve got to be fucking kidding me.”
“Beomgyu hyung!” Kai reprimanded, sounding shocked. “No swearing at strangers!”
“No, we’ve met before,” Taehyun said through gritted teeth. “He terrorized me all the way through school.”
“I did not terrorize you,” Beomgyu retorted. “You were an insufferable teacher’s pet. I’m surprised that you could even walk to class with that stick so far up your ass.”
“At least I wasn’t a delinquent who got in on mommy and daddy’s money rather than my own merit–““Okay!” Kai interrupted, voice slightly higher than normal. “I get it, old law school buddies. That’s great. Um, Beomgyu hyung, this is who you’ll be working on the case with."
