“I have bought something for you,” Ilya says one morning, before Shane has fully roused from sleep. He is never awake before Shane except on those hard nights or, evidently, he’s been scheming.
“What?” Shane replies groggily, rubbing the sleep away from his eyes and turning towards Ilya.
“You can’t know until it arrives,” Ilya responds with a cheeky grin on his face. “I think you will love it. Very you.”
“You know I hate surprises,” Shane pouts, and lays one leg over Ilya’s as he snuggles closer to him.
